A no win, no fee solicitor is a popular choice these days for anyone making an accident at work compensation claim. This is because it is a very low risk choice.
Many solicitors do operate on this basis and so it is a good idea to look around and see what sort of choice you have. This is because you want to try to find the solicitor that is best at their job to represent you because you want to increase you chances of winning the case.
When you have found a no win, no fee solicitor then you will discuss the terms and conditions of them working for you with them. They normally will want to sort out everything before they start so that everyone knows where they stand.
No win, no fee solicitors will never charge you if they lose the case, so you have no risk there. However, if they win the case, they will normally charge you, unless they guarantee 100% compensation. They will normal agree with you a percentage payment of up to 30% of your compensation. This might sound like a lot, but they are taking a risk because they may not win anything and they do not know exactly what your compensation will be. They are an expert in their field and so you should expect to pay them a fair price for their knowledge and services.
You also have to consider that you may not have been able to win the case without them. Their knowledge of this type of case could be invaluable in you winning. They have to work very hard and they have to keep their knowledge up to date. They know far more about this sort of thing than you. They could be well worth every penny that you pay for them.
