My Kid Is Still a Kid It Would Seem!

Being a single mother is interesting to say the least. Especially when it comes to shopping. I usually take my son everywhere with me since there is no reason to pay for a sitter just to go shopping. I love picking with him when we go to the department store and I head down the bridal lingerie aisle. He is 11 years old, so of course bras, panties and nighties are still nasty to him. I tell him one day he will have a beautiful wife that will wear beautiful lingerie for him. He only shrivels up his nose and tells me how nasty it is and there is no way his wife will do that! I laugh, and just appreciate that he still thinks girls have cooties. Soon he will have girlfriends and he will not think that anymore. Kids have to grow up so fast in this day and age I just am glad he is still a kid, with a kids mentality.
